Sightseeing Spots In Japan

I, a real Japanese man, introduce great sightseeing spots, tourist locations, events, and things to do and see in Japan.

Ikebukuro - Tokyo ☆☆☆☆

Ikebukuro is a large commercial and entertainment district of Tokyo.
(for more information follow the link Ikebukuro wikipedia)

I assume Ikebukuro is not a really fun place for tourists.
I went to Ikebukuro because I wanted to see Ikebukuro west gate park
(Ikenukuro nishiguchi kouen) that was the location for one of the legendary
Japanese drama I.W.G.P (Ikebukuro West Gate Park)

Nanzenji Temple ☆☆☆☆

Nanzenji temple is the temple that has a pretty garden and famous
canal. This canal is called "Biwako sosui" This was made to bring water
from Biwako lake, which is the biggest lake in Japan.

This place is not as famous as Kinkakuji-temple or Kiyomizu-temple.
But it's really quiet and peace here and I really like to see the historical
canal. (more information please follow the link Nanzen-ji wikipedia)
